In addition to Saint Mary Way activities, or SMW for short, I have also served God in other roles and at other churches. My experience while serving God at church was as a church officer who welcomed and counted the people who came to church. Additionally, I have also served in the choir with my Blasius prayer environment . I served at Odilia Church on Cikutra Street No. 7, and I served with the youth in my lingkungan, and we had 8 to 10 members. (orientation)

Before carrying out these activities, we gathered to divide up the tasks. Some were responsible for delivering the offerings, some counted the offering money, and others welcomed people as they entered the church. I happened to be assigned to welcome people and help carry the offerings. After that, we began our tasks. While performing our duties, we did not encounter any obstacles; everything went smoothly, as we had initially predicted. From this ministry, we all prayed to give thanks to God because, through His grace, we were able to carry out our duties well. ( Event)

I also sing with my prayer environment and my mother at Odilia Church. We have a habit when we are about to sing at church. Ten minutes before our performance, we practice briefly, or what is commonly called voice warm-up, so that our voices are not too weak or off-key. After practice and before Mass begins, we pray together to ask for God's blessing so that our voices can be loud (heard by the congregation) and more melodious. When Mass begins, we sing joyfully and humbly. From the beginning to the end of Mass, we sing well so that our voices can be heard by the congregation and sound melodious and not out of tune. Here, I feel God's blessings flowing in my prayer environment because we have no problems when performing our duties, and I also feel a sense of family afterwards because we support each other. Thirdly, I was also one of the organizers of last year's Christmas event. In addition to actively singing in church, I also actively participate in activities in my prayer environment. My achievements include winning first place in the language competition and first place in the August 17th competition. There are also many other events held by my prayer environment , such as rosary prayers, and prayers for the souls of my prayer environment who have passed away. As an organizer, I was in charge of reading questions to the children who participated in the Christmas competition. It wasn't just me, but my mother as well. At that time, my mother was in charge of preparing several games, and I also participated in the games happily and without feeling forced, so I will remember this event forever. From this competition, I gained a lot of new experiences and knowledge, starting from getting to know many biblical figures and the events they went through or experienced. (Event)

At the end of this paragraph, I feel very happy because, thanks to God, I am able to be present in myself and I feel increasingly blessed. In addition, I am also happy because I can serve God with my voice and the voice of my environment prayer. Currently, I am also trying to be more active in serving God, such as singing or serving others. From the three stories above, I know that whatever we do for God will definitely be useful for ourselves, others, and God Himself. Hopefully next year I can be more active in serving God, such as joining the altar servers or OMK ( Catholic youth ) in my parish or becoming a pianist when serving in the choir later. When I was serving in the choir before, there were still some Catholic teenagers in my neighborhood who did not sing. I hope that young Catholics reading my article, whether from the Blasius neighborhood or not, who are not yet active in ministry, will become more active in worshiping God in various good and proper ways. One more thing: worshiping God does not have to be done only in church; you can also do it by sincerely participating in neighborhood prayers. spreading God’s word to others, and inviting someone who has strayed back to God’s path—not by force, but according to the state of your faith at that time.
